Innovative Training Solutions for Aviation

Limited simulator access and outdated tools created training challenges for pilots and instructional designers. To address this, I helped develop mobile and desktop training apps for Boeing aircraft models, including Virtual Airplane, a more accessible training tool for pilots and instructors to enhance their learning experience. I also contributed to the Virtual Procedures Trainer, which earned praise from Alaska Airlines and secured additional funding. I designed wireframes, prototypes, and design systems, testing with users to refine the experience. User research, including personas and journey maps, informed key design decisions.
